By Raymond Lucas Jr., 247Sports: Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. received limited reps throughout the last few practices. Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer cited keeping the signal caller “fresh” and “sharp” as reasons why. He added that Penix would be ready to play if the season began today.
“He threw the heck out of it the first three practices and a lot of reps,” DeBoer said Wednesday, via Dawgman.com.
