DC Antonio Pierce expects ASU defense to be among nation's best

Sun Devil Source: Since he was hired by Arizona State in December of 2017, Antonio Pierce and the program’s head coach, Herm Edwards, have planted seeds they hoped would one day bloom the Sun Devils into a perennial Pac-12 contender.

Three years into his tenure, Pierce has seen that growth unfold defensively, as ASU’s unit sprouted from the youngest group in Power 5 football to the conference’s top-ranked scoring defense last season.
