247Sports: As calls to expand the College Football Playoff continue, what might it mean for the remainder of the more than two-dozen bowl games? Florida head coach Dan Mullen will tell you that he’s all for expansion of the current four-team system, but believes that the sport will need to “let go” of the bowl system that it has long known if an expanded field is to become a reality.
“What bowl games mean are really special,” Mullen said Monday on ESPN’s Championship Drive from Miami Gardens, Florida.
