By Chandler Vessels, On3: Colorado coach Deion Sanders jokingly clapped back at former President Barack Obama for comments he made pregame before a matchup with Arizona. Obama quipped that the Buffaloes had “a couple of good players” during an event in Tuscon this week, while also bringing up the Wildcats had won the past two meetings.
It was Sanders and Colorado who ultimately got the last laugh, however, as they rolled to a dominant 34-7 win. Speaking in his postgame press conference, the Buffaloes head man took the opportunity to make Obama eat crow over his statement.
