CSU guard's March Madness run represents a 'missed opportunity' for the Buffs

By Charlie Strella, Buffaloes Wire: Colorado State‘s run in the NCAA tournament ended Sunday evening with Maryland’s Derik Queen hitting a buzzer-beating fadeaway to send the Terps to the Sweet 16.

The Rams also lost their head coach, Niko Medved, to his alma mater, Minnesota. However, for Colorado, CSU’s rivals down south, the end of the Rams’ run gives us a moment to look back at what could have been with Colorado State’s best player and former Buff, Nique Clifford.
