By James Crepea, The Oregonian/OregonLive: Drew Mehringer will nearly double his existing salary after being promoted to be Oregon’s offensive coordinator and Chris Hampton is receiving a $500,000 raise in becoming defensive coordinator.
Each signed two-year contracts through the 2027-28 season in December, when their promotions were reported, and UO formally announced the moves Thursday. Hampton will earn $1.7 million annually and Mehringer will earn $1.4 million, according to their contracts which were released in response to a public records request by The Oregonian/OregonLive.
