BuffStampede: When asked which players stood out during his first scrimmage as Colorado’s head coach, Karl Dorrell mentioned two all-conference caliber players in Mustafa Johnson and Nate Landman. Then, he began pointing out players that are not projected as starters.
The quarterback battle is not any clearer after the first preseason scrum, at least until Dorrell and quarterbacks coach Danny Langsdorf are able to dissect the tape.
