By Craig Meyer, The Coloradoan, USA TOAY Network: On the same day it retired the jersey numbers of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, Colorado football announced plans to immortalize another towering figure in the program’s history.
The Buffaloes will erect a statue of former coach Bill McCartney outside Folsom Field, the university announced Saturday during Colorado’s spring game.
