Colorado State football adds legacy cornerback Jayden Cortell

By Kevin Lytle, The Coloradoan via Yahoo Sports: The son of a former Colorado State cornerback will now be a cornerback for the Rams himself.

Jayden Cortell verbally committed to CSU on May 5, posting his announcement on X.

He’s a 5-foot-10, 180-pound defensive back coming to the Rams from San Diego Mesa College. Cortell’s dad, Ron, was a defensive back at CSU from 1985-88.
