By Harrison Simeon, Buffaloes Wire: On Wednesday, Colorado men’s basketball announced via social media that its Feb. 24 home game against the Kansas Jayhawks had sold out. Despite being a late 9 p.m. MT tipoff on a Monday, a capacity crowd is set to fill the CU Events Center for the Buffs’ bout with one of the nation’s most decorated programs.
In what the CU athletics department deemed the “renewal of the most-played rivalry in Colorado men’s basketball history,” the Buffaloes and Jayhawks will square off for the 166th time in front of both a sellout crowd and a national television audience on ESPN.
