By Pat Rooney, BuffZone: Colorado athletics lost the voice of several generations of Buffaloes fans with the passing of Larry Zimmer on Saturday evening.
Zimmer, 88, was the “Voice of the Buffaloes” for 42 seasons, providing the lead play-by-play commentary on Colorado football and men’s basketball beginning in 1971.
