By Adam Bradford, Trojans Wire: It didn’t take long for Pete Carroll to make a splash in last Vegas. His first big hire as head coach of the Raiders was a massive one, hiring away Ohio State’s Chip Kelly to be his offensive coordinator.
Kelly previously served as the head coach at both Oregon and UCLA. He took the Ducks to the national title game in 2010, and won a national championship as the Buckeyes’ offensive coordinator this past season.
At his introductory press conference, Kelly shared some of what went into his decision to leave Columbus for Las Vegas.
