By Steve Samra, On3 Sports: The Chicago Bears officially have landed their star quarterback of the future, securing former USC star Caleb Williams’ services via the 2024 NFL Draft. Williams has signed a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $39 million, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The contract includes a $25.5 million signing bonus, per Schefter.
It was only a matter of time before Williams was the top pick in the NFL Draft, as for the last year and change, NFL Draft evaluators raved about what would bring to the league. Now, he’s officially inked his first contract in the league, as he moves onto the professional level.
