Duck Territory: The Los Angeles Chargers are growing as a team, winning three straight games and heading into the season finale with an eye on the future. A lot of that optimism stems from rookie quarterback Justin Herbert and the explosive season from the No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The former Oregon quarterback didn’t open the season as the Chargers’ starter but will finish having started the final 15 games of the season and taking down a number of NFL rookie records, including Herbert’s 28 passing touchdown mark which the quarterback set this past weekend.
