By Dean Straka, 247Sports: The College Football Playoff management committee will no longer hold its vote on expansion that was scheduled for Sept. 28 in Chicago, CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd confirmed Wednesday.
The news comes after the board of managers “made progress” during a Wednesday meeting in Dallas, but was unable to move forward with expansion plans for the time being.
