Center Lukas McCanna commits to Utah basketball, will reclassify to 2026

Lukas McCanna, a 2027 prospect out of Western Reserve Academy in Ohio, has committed to the Runnin’ Utes and will reclassify to join the program in the coming months.

For Utah, this is less about adding a player expected to step into a major role right away and more about investing in a young big man with size, physical tools and room to grow.
