Canzano: What Ohio State’s Gene Smith isn’t saying the Pac-12 needs to hear

OregonLive: Don’t know if you caught it but Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith was recently asked about a report that mentioned him as a possible candidate for the Pac-12 commissioner job.

 

 

“Pure speculation,” he said.

“Honored to be mentioned,” he added.

Smith told The Columbus Dispatch, “I have not been contacted by anyone.”
