By John Canzano, OregonLive: The trustees charged with acting in the best interest of Oregon State University have scheduled a meeting this week in which they’ll discuss, debate and decide what to do with embattled university president F. King Alexander.
Forgive me for not being thrilled about the 4.5-hour charade OSU is holding on Wednesday. Public testimony will happen. Alexander will plead for his job with the same tired excuses he’s used for the last week. The trustees will retire to a room and privately discuss the mess. Then, they’ll emerge and announce whether the former Louisiana State University president stays, goes or is disciplined.
