By John Canzano, The Oregonian/OregonLive: I don’t know exactly what Oregon State’s recent Elite Eight run is worth to the university. But I know the cost of failing to capitalize on it would be a crying shame.
What men’s basketball coach Wayne Tinkle and his team just pulled off was beautifully absurd. The Beavers won the Pac-12 Tournament title, reeled off three straight NCAA tournament upsets in Indiana and became one of the best stories in the bracket.
