Cammon Cooper says he chose to battle rather than leave WSU football

By Braulio Perez, CougFan.com: When asked if he ever thought about transferring from Washington State on Saturday, fourth-year junior quarterback Cammon Cooper didn’t mince words in his response. The lefty signal-caller is playing this spring with the same mindset he’s had since he first arrived with in Pullman back in 2018.

And that’s to go out there and do his absolute best no matter the circumstances. Thus far this spring, including during Saturday’s scrimmage, Cooper has seen plenty of action with the 1s, as he’s trying to impress coach Nick Rolovich.
