By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: The Chicago Bears picked Iowa Hawkeye punter Tory Taylor on Saturday at the 2024 NFL draft. Taylor was an elite punter in the Big Ten, and draft analysts think he was a great pick by Chicago and general manager Ryan Poles.
That did not stop new Bears quarterback Caleb Williams from sending a firm and pointed message to his new teammate right after the draft selection was made. Caleb told his new Bear buddy that punting won’t occur very much in the Windy City, given the loaded new offense the Bears have assembled
