By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: With a full week of practice complete, USC held its first scrimmage of fall camp and saw its defense display signs of much-needed development, according to head coach Lincoln Riley.
Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams went head-to-head with that unit and echoed Riley’s claims, pointing to playmakers such as Zion Branch and Tackett Curtis, who accounted for some of the biggest highlights of the day.
