By Jackson Moore, BearTerritory: The California Golden Bears will soon be a Nike affiliate school. Cal Athletics announced on Wednesday that they have reached an agreement with Nike effective this July, which means an early exit from the former Under Armour contract.
Cal and Under Armour previously agreed to a 10-year contract worth $86 million. It was originally set to run through 2027-28.
