Bear Territory: The California Golden Bears will have a shake-up in the quarterback two-deep in 2021. While returning starter Chase Garbers is expected to be back, second-team QB Devon Modster has declared for the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to sources at 247Sports.
Modster entered the 2020 season as a fifth-year senior at the college level with Cal already being his second stop. In Cal’s brief four-game season, he made only one appearance with one incomplete pass.
