Cal LB Jackson Sirmon out for season; QB Fernando Mendoza says he's fine

By Jake Curtis, Cal Sports Report: There was some bad news and some good news on the Cal injury front following the Bears’ 34-14 loss to Utah on Saturday.

In short, inside linebacker Jackson Sirmon is finished for the season, while redshirt freshman quarterback Fernando Mendoza said he’s 100% healthy despite leaving Saturday’s game with an injury.
