Bear Territory: First the California Golden Bears were scheduled to open the 2020 season on Aug. 29, then Sept. 26, and then Nov. 7. Two days away from kickoff, the Golden Bears’ 2020 football season has been delayed yet again.
Saturday’s season-opener against Washington was canceled due to COVID-19 related issues, leaving Cal hopeful to open the season on Nov. 14 at Arizona State. Cal football players took to social media Thursday to voice their disappointment.
