Bear Territory: There is not a lot of position shuffling going on in Cal’s 15 spring practices, though one returning Golden Bear player will make a significant move. Sophomore Trey Paster, recruited in 2020 as a safety, will now enter the mix in the inside linebackers unit.
Paster was listed on the 2020 roster as a safety but saw immediate playing time at the star position – a hybrid outside linebacker role. He also contributed on special teams and logged one tackle last season.
