Bear Territory: A 2020 opt-out for the California Golden Bears will not be back in 2021 either. Redshirt junior defensive end Gabe Cherry has announced he is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The 6-foot-5 and 280 pounder out of Bakersfield redshirted in 2017 and appeared in one game over the 2018 and 2019 seasons. He was one of the handful of reported opt-outs for the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
