BYU football gets its first commitment for the class of 2027

By Ryan McDonald, Deseret News: The BYU Cougars football program has landed its first commitment from the Class of 2027, and that pledge comes from a prospect in the state of Utah.

On Monday, Mountain Ridge athlete Tytan DeJong announced his commitment to the Cougars on social media.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, DeJong plays tight end and outside linebacker for Mountain Ridge.
