By Casey Lundquist, Cougs Daily: On Wednesday, Kevin Young and the BYU basketball program announced the signing of Utah transfer Keba Keita. Keita, who has two years of eligibility remaining, is the first transfer portal addition of the Kevin Young era. Keita entered the transfer portal shortly after Chris Burgess left Utah for BYU.
It wasn’t a foregone conclusion that he would end up at BYU once he entered the portal, but BYU certainly had the advantage given his relationship with Burgess.
