BSU WR Eric McAlister leaves team effective immediately, plans to transfer

By Kevin Hiatt, Bronco Country: Multiple sources have confirmed that Boise State’s leading receiver, Sophomore Eric McAlister, has quit the team effective immediately and will enter the Transfer Portal when it opens on December 4th, 2023.

McAlister leads the Broncos with 47 receptions, for 873 yards and 5 Touchdowns. He also leads the NCAA in 20+ yards targets with 29 on the season.

News broke early Monday morning that Boise State's leading receiver, Sophomore WR Eric McAlister, has left the team and will transfer to a new school at the end of the term.
