By Brett McMurphy, Action Network: Any hopes of my preseason bowl projections finishing a perfect 41-for-41 are officially over. It only took one week, and my quest for perfection was crushed as bad as Navy’s rush defense against Notre Dame.
Arizona State, which I projected last week in the Independence Bowl, self-imposed a one-year bowl ban Sunday. With the Sun Devils officially eliminated from bowl contention, this week’s bowl projections will look a little different.
