Boise State's Marisa Howard qualifies for 2024 Olympic in 3K steeplechase

By Boise State Athletics: Marisa Howard has punched her ticket to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, by finishing third in the 3000-meter steeplechase final at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, Thursday evening at Hayward Field.

Howard ran a personal best time of 9:07.14 to earn her spot on Team USA.

Howard is one of three athletes who will represent the U.S. in the 3000m steeplechase as she made her first Olympic team. She is the seventh Bronco and first female alum to earn a spot on the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Team. A Bronco has made each Summer Games dating back to 1988.
