By B.J. Rains, Bronco Nation News: Boise State has dismissed coach Andy Avalos, athletic director Jeramiah Dickey announced Sunday.
The school made the stunning announcement less than 12 hours after a 42-14 win over New Mexico.
Defensive coordinator Spencer Danielson will serve as interim head coach the remainder of the season, according to a Boise State release.
