Bob Chesney was hoping to add even more JMU transfers to UCLA roster

By Dylan McNeill, UCLA Wire: Bob Chesney didn’t waste time during his first portal window opening as head coach of the UCLA Bruins. Chesney added 41 players to the Bruins roster, filling holes at nearly every single position.

A lot of the transfers came over with Chesney from James Madison but that doesn’t mean that Chesney got every one of his former players that he was hoping to land in the portal. Chesney told Ben Bolch of the California Post how he couldn’t land a few James Madison players he had his eyes on.
