Big 12 championship game rushing record: Where ASU's Cam Skattebo falls

The Arizona State football senior running back put on quite a show in the first half of the No. 13 Sun Devils Big 12 championship game against No. 16 Iowa State. On his first run of the game, Skattebo broke a couple of tackles and found some green for a 28-yard run. That only set the tone for his first half.

Skattebo finished the first half with 10 rushes for 140 yards and two touchdowns as Arizona State built up a 24-10 halftime lead with a chance to win the conference championship and earn a berth in the 12-team College Football Playoffs. Of the 140 yards, 90 came after contact.
