By Jake Hedberg, Beaver Blitz: One of the greatest players in Oregon State baseball history is off the board, as the Cleveland Guardians have selected Travis Bazzana with the first overall pick in the 2024 MLB draft.
Before even putting on the Black and Orange Bazzana had put quite the impression on Beaver fans, as he hit .413 with 20 doubles for the Corvallis Knights during the summer of 2021, breaking many Knights records and earning the West Coast League MVP Award.
