Backup linebacker Will Shaffer no longer with ASU football team

By Noah Furtado, Sun Devil Soure: Arizona State junior linebacker Will Shaffer left the team on his own accord Tuesday and intends to transfer, a person directly familiar with the situation told Sun Devil Source.

The 6-foot-0, 235-pounder played as a backup in four games this season, recording five tackles and a quarterback hurry, all against Fresno State on Sept. 16.
