By Steve Lassan, Athlon Sports: The Pac-12 is loaded with potential conference title contenders for the 2023 college football season, as six teams earn a spot in the projected top 25 for this fall. Having strength atop the conference is good news for potential CFB Playoff berths, but the Pac-12 could also beat up on its own too much and have a two (or three) loss champion again in ’23.
But in Athlon’s first preseason bowl projections, the Pac-12 is poised to end a six-year drought of not having a team reach the playoff, as USC is selected reach a national semifinal against Georgia.
