By Athlon Sports: Colorado State went from three wins to five wins in head coach Jay Norvell’s first two years, and a bowl game will be a logical next step for the Rams. They have not been to a bowl since 2017. There is plenty of talent and experience on offense, and quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi will have a year under his belt as the full-time starter. Tory Horton’s return at receiver is also big for the Rams.
Defensively, the secondary is in position to improve from last year. The non-conference features Texas, Oregon State, Colorado, UTEP and Northern Colorado; a 3-2 mark in those five games would give the Rams a good shot to reach the postseason.
