Sun Devil Source: The Pac-12 conference is joining the party that is football in the fall. It voted this week that it would play a seven-game, league-only schedule starting the weekend of Nov. 7. Due to a shorter schedule than every other Power 5 conference — which doesn’t allow for make-up games to be played — many are wondering if the league has a legitimate case for the College Football Playoff.
Arizona State head coach Herm Edwards isn’t wondering at all. He appeared on ESPN’s College GameDay and mentioned something we’ve seen several occurrences of in this young season: cancellations and postponements.
