Sun Devil Source: Arizona State senior cornerback Jack Jones indicated that he is planning to return to the program for the 2021 season in a tweet released early Monday morning.
Jones, who was a fifth-year senior for the 2020 season, is the first Sun Devil to publicly announce that he will take advantage of the NCAA Division I board of directors’ decision in August to give all fall sport athletes an additional year of eligibility due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic disruption. All teams get exemptions for every returning senior above the 85-man scholarship cap.
