By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: A different kind of pressure squeezed Arizona State in its Tuesday matchup against a surging Kansas State squad. It was not only the familiar pressure of a close game with five minutes left, the weight of which the Sun Devils have crumbled under too often in recent weeks, but something even more daunting.
More than the full-court presses and frantic on-ball defense that have troubled ASU in recent Big 12 games, it was the weight of a season that appeared to be on the verge of shattering after a fourth consecutive home conference loss on Saturday against Arizona, something that had not happened in coach Bobby Hurley’s nine prior seasons.
