By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: Sophomore defensive back Cole Martin will not play for Arizona State this season due to a troublesome hip injury that has sidelined him for several weeks. He has a redshirt year available that will be used.
“He’s going to get surgery on a few items that have been lingering since he got here,” ASU coach Kenny Dillingham said. “He’s trying to push through it. He’s a really tough kid. It just got to a point where we were like, ‘We’ve got to get him right.'”
