ASU coaches in no rush to name starting QB in 'healthy competition'

By Jake Seymour, SunDevil Source: Here are notes and observations from Arizona State‘s Friday practice, its ninth of preseason camp and the third to take place at Camp Tontozona. Media members were allowed to watch the entire practice, which lasted about two hours and was conducted in helmets only.

Not observed in attendance: Sophomore offensive tackle Jalen Klemm and sophomore wide receiver Jordyn Tyson were not observed in attendance.

Friday report: ASU coaches in no rush to name starting QB in 'healthy competition'

The Sun Devils had a lighter practice on Friday, focusing on walkthroughs and special teams in preparation for Saturday's scrimmage at Camp Tontozona. Kenny Dillingham also provided insight into ASU's quarterback competition between Sam Leavitt and Jeff Sims.
