ASU bringing Sparky helmets to Sun Bowl for 1st time since 2004 matchup

By Damon Allred, Arizona Sports: Arizona State will bring its traditional Sparky helmet to the Sun Bowl on Wednesday after wearing pitchfork helmets the previous three times it’s been in the El Paso setting.

The Sun Devils are going with gold helmets, white jerseys and gold pants.

ASU’s three most recent Sun Bowl appearances (2019, 2017, 2014) all featured pitchfork helmets.
