ASU basketball adds experienced scorer Jose Perez to 2023 roster

By Chris Karpman, SunDevil Source: Jose Perez, a 6-foot-5 senior guard who averaged 18.9 points and 4.5 assists in 2021-22 at Manhattan, announced his transfer to Arizona State after sitting out last season while at West Virginia.

After missing the 2022-23 campaign, Perez entered the transfer portal upon the firing of West Virginia coach Bob Huggins.

The Sun Devils found a good option for heavy backcourt minutes in Perez, particularly if Adam Miller is not eligible to play this season.
