Wildcat Authority: Arizona has picked up a commitment from Washington State quarterback transfer Gunner Cruz only 24 hours after he announced that he would be entering the transfer portal. Arizona currently has two scholarship quarterbacks in Kevin Doyle and Will Plummer with Plummer being the only one of the two to throw passes in a game.
When Clay Millen decided to open his recruitment, it became vital for Arizona to add a quarterback and with Jedd Fisch making a pitch to keep players within the state of Arizona, Cruz quick became a priority.
