By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Cougfan.com has confirmed with Washington State a total of approximately 35,000 tickets have been sold for the Apple Cup next Saturday at Seattle’s Lumen Field. That’s just more than 50 percent of Lumen’s 68,740 capacity.
As Cougfan.com reported in June, the early pre-sale numbers for WSU were a pitiful 1,700 compared to 18,000 for Washington. Following the pre-sale to each school’s donors and fans, tickets went on sale to the general public.
