Alabama HS football Star dies at 17 after passing out at football practice

By Damond Talbot, Draft Diamonds: Dimitri McKee was called “Big Meech” because he was one of the biggest kids on the field. The 6-4, 385-pound football star for the Lee Generals died last night at the age of 17.

The senior star football player passed out after Tuesday’s practice in Montgomery. Coaches noticed he was having a problem, and put ice on his back around 7:45. He was at the hospital by 8:15 pm.
